Frederick Celtic Festival

May 11, 2013 @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

The 2013 Frederick Celtic Festival is being dedicated to honor and benefit our Wounded Warriors. To that end, we’ve partnered with two charities, the Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Ward 57 based at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center – Bethesda to financially benefit them from various aspects of our Festival.

Our Opening Ceremonies will commence at noon with a massed Pipe Band performance, Scottish Clan and Celtic Society parade, and presentation of the colors and special recognition of the branches of the Armed Forces.

We are inviting several wounded warriors to participate on the athletic field after the professional competition of the Scottish Athletic events. They will of course be required to wear the traditional kilt (which we will supply) in order to participate.

All the ticket sales from the evening concert and donations from the car show will be given equally to Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Ward 57
